NUBE delay: More than just a Delay - Vst plugin
Developer Ronan Fed (based in Uruguay, based on the location his Youtube channel shows) presents a new FREE plugin: the NUBE delay effect. The NUBE delay plugin is an effect that at first glance seems to be a typical delay, but if you pay attention you will find interesting things, such as the addition of a phaser effect, reverb, even LFO modulation options. And of course we will find several known parameters to control the delay effect.
In the center we have the two "most important" knobs: Feedback (adjusts the amount of delay effect feedback, from 0 to 100%), Level (adjusts the amount of signal processed (wet) for the effect, from 0 to 200%). %). Then in the right section we have the parameters for the "surgical adjustment of the delay"
We have the Input knob (sets the amount of dry signal, from 0 to 200%), DAMP knob (sets the low pass decay damping, from 0% = fast to 100% = slow) , Time Mode (allows you to set the delay time: Tempo sync or Free), Spread (allows you to select the delay mode: Stereo or Ping-Pong) and next to the Stereo knob (sets the spread of the stereo image, at 0% equals Mono), High Cut & Low Cut filters.
And on the other side, in the left section we will find that distinctive deliciousness of the NUBE delay plugin. Filter Mode (allows you to set a filter for the delay: Low Pass, Band Pass or High Pass. The interesting thing about this is that we can apply modulation), Filter Cutoff (sets the cutoff frequency of the delay filter), Filter Resonance (applies resonance over the delay filter frequency), and with the LFO Rate & LFO Depth knobs we can apply modulation that allows us to give the effect some movement.
Last but not least we have the control knobs to apply a Phaser effect: 'Frequency' sets the phaser frequency and 'Level' sets the Wet level of the phaser effect. And the Reverb effect: 'Decay' sets the reverb time, with a maximum of 12 seconds and Level sets the Wet level of the Reverb effect.
