Discover a rare piece of music history with the Ondioline, one of the world's first synthesisers. The LABS team captured its delightfully off-kilter sound, designed and patented by French inventor Georges Jenny in the early 1940s, and transformed the raw recordings into a range of playful presets. The Ondioline is as wild as your imagination when it comes to smile-inducing possibilities.

WHAT'S NEW IN LABS?

LABS instruments use a dedicated plugin, and better still… they’re absolutely free! They have simplified controls, featuring sliders for expression and dynamics, and a big knob that can be easily customised to the user’s personal workflow. They are clutter-free and focused.

HOW DO I ADD LABS INTO KONTAKT?

You don’t! LABS is now a dedicated, free to use plugin available as VST2, VST3, AAX and AU, so it can be used directly in your favourite DAW.

WHAT SOFTWARE WILL I NEED TO INSTALL LABS?

You will only need the Spitfire Audio App. Just press FREE DOWNLOAD on labs.spitfireaudio.com and you will be guided through the process.

WHAT SOFTWARE WILL I NEED TO RUN LABS?

We provide a VST2, VST3, AAX and an AU, so as long as your chosen DAW supports one of those plugin formats, you’re good to go.

IS LABS COMPATIBLE WITH MACS THAT USE THE NEW M1 CHIP?

LABS libraries are compatible with M1, but your DAW might not be. If your DAW is not compatible, you will most likely need to run the application in Rosetta (Intel). See this article for further information.
