- Stereo correlation meter
- EBU R128, K-system meter
- RMS, true peak level, and clipping detector
SPAN is a free real-time audio spectrum analyzer AAX, AudioUnit, and VST plugin for professional sound and music production applications.
SPAN includes a very flexible "mode" system for configuring your spectrum analyzer preferences. You can specify the Fourier block size in samples, the percentage of FFT window overlap, and the visual slope of the spectrum. You can also choose to display secondary spectrum of a specific type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). The spectrum can be visually smoothed out for easier examination.
SPAN supports multi-channel analysis and can be configured to display spectrums from two different channels or channel groups simultaneously. Spectrum's colour can be customised to your liking.
SPAN also has adjustable ballistics and integration time for output level metering, EBU R128, and K-system metering (including calibration K-system metering). SPAN displays level metering statistics, estimation of headroom, and detection of true peak clipping. Correlation metering is also available.

This audio plugin can be used in any audio host application that supports AudioUnit, AAX, or VST plugins.
This plugin is compatible with Windows (32- and 64-bit Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and later versions, unless otherwise stated) and macOS (10.11 and later versions, unless otherwise stated) computers (2.5 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 4 GB of system RAM required). Each target computer platform and audio plugin specification has its own binary distribution file. If AVX2-optimized code is supported on a specific processor, the plugin may use it internally. Big Sur, Monterey, and Apple Silicon native are all supported.
