PlastikGuitar is a free VST/AU instrument plugin (ROMpler) for Windows and macOS DAWs and other plugin host applications.

It is a little guitar instrument based on Quartertone samples recorded from a Yamaha Eterna classical acoustic guitar. He used a CAD E100 microphone for the recording session.

PlastikGuitar has two presets: Finger-Plucked (finger-plucked note performances) and Harmonics (string harmonics played at the 4th, 5th, 7th, and 12th frets on each string of the instrument). Each sampled note has 5 velocity layers in both setups.

The tremolo with speed and depth, attack/release envelope, lowpass/highpass filter, gain, pan, and room reverb controls are simple to use.

PlastikGuitar, in its basic form, can be utilised for rhythms and melodies in genres such as EDM, Pop, Hip Hop, Trap, or House, combined with numerous effects. Harmonics can be used to produce trippy tunes or rich pads. We believe there is plenty of room for innovation.

PlastikGuitar is available as a VST/VST3 Windows plugin and as a VST/VST3/AU macOS plugin. It is backwards compatible with the most recent versions, and it is also natively compatible with M1 chips.
