Megan Moroney Releases New Album Cloud 9 With 15 Lyric Videos and Announces “9 Cities. 9 Days” Tour

Megan Moroney’s much-anticipated new album Cloud 9 is finally here — and to celebrate, she’s dropped lyric videos for all 15 tracks. Starting this Friday in New York City, Megan is also kicking off her “9 Cities. 9 Days” promo tour, where she’ll be traveling across the country to perform some of her brand-new songs along with fan favorites at each stop.

In a heartfelt Instagram note, Megan thanked fans for the incredible energy they brought to her Am I Okay? tour — an experience that overlapped with the time she spent writing Cloud 9. According to her, those live shows played a huge role in shaping many of the ideas and songs that made it onto the album.

She shared that Cloud 9 reflects a new sense of confidence, while still holding onto the humor, honesty, heartbreak, softness, and love that define her take on country music. In her words, it captures everything she personally loves about the genre.

Megan also opened up about collaborating with artists like Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves on the project — something she says she never imagined would happen. She hopes these moments inspire dreamers everywhere to keep pushing forward, reminding them that even their biggest dreams are possible.

She wrapped up her message by saying she’s feeling incredibly excited and grateful, and hopes fans enjoy listening to the album as much as she enjoyed making it.
