FunkBass is a free sample-based virtual instrument plugin for Windows and macOS DAWs and other plugin host software.
FunkBass was created as a quick and light but powerful instrument for creating simple bass lines in musical genres such as Pop, EDM, Funk Soul, RnB, and others. If you're seeking for a virtual bass with a plethora of methods, articulations, subtleties, and effects, FunkBass isn't for you; there are already dozens of such commercial plugins available. Our plugin is for individuals who prefer a simplified approach to "genuine" virtual bass while still understanding that a virtual bass will never sound exactly like a physical bass.
All of these patches are accessible via the top menu, as is a basic filter with high/low cut, attack and release envelopes, gain and pan, voice mode selection, and glide. There's also an LFO modulation section featuring LFO speed and depth controls, as well as wave type, source, and destination options.
